Total Available Manpower Fit for Military Service by Country
Because having the most people matters not in a business where participants must be fit to fight.
Despite the use of technology, victory in wars inevitably and ultimately comes down to available manpower. This is a crucial factor in the GFP ranking as it represents the portion of a given population that is (theoretically) available to assist in a war effort. This assumes able-bodied souls suitable for the fighting and material production involved in waging a long-running campaign. Manpower Fit-for-Military-Service is used by the GFP final ranking to further refine a nation's overall military strength. Those nations with inherently large overall populations will, rather appropriately, be capable of offering more personnel that are fit for military service.
